Farewell to 2024: The successes of Studio Apostoli and a look ahead to the prospects of the new year.
Prestigious awards, new international projects, and exceptional global growth. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the key milestones achieved by the Studio and share the vision and prospects for 2025, further cementing the Alberto Apostoli brand as a leader.
2024 has been a defining year, marked by prestigious recognitions, new international ventures, and significant growth, reinforcing Studio Apostoli’s position as a leader in architecture, design, and “Wellness-Oriented” consulting. We take pride in reviewing the milestones reached and share the vision that will guide the Studio into 2025.
A YEAR OF AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
Every award is more than just an honour; it is a testament to passion, dedication, and the continuous pursuit of excellence. Even after 27 years and more than 70 awards, each new recognition serves as a reminder to strive for further improvement. In 2024, the Studio added 11 prestigious awards to its growing collection, celebrating projects that embody its core philosophy. Among the most significant awards are:
- Interior Design Awards for the projects Almar – Giardino di Costanza and Casa Cipriani SPA, which also received the TOP ID Award.
- Grand Prix du Design and LIV Hospitality Design Awards for the Preistoriche Green Lodge project.
- In the Hospitality category, the Tavan Jargal Wellness Resort won the Paris Design Awards, and the Lefay Resort & Spa Gargnano was recognised as Best Sustainable SPA of the Year.
The Green Lodge at Terme Preistoriche Resort & Spa represents the perfect harmony between architecture and nature. Six wooden stilted suites, connected by suspended walkways, offer a new way to experience luxury: sustainable, authentic, and immersive.
“The Green Lodge buildings are unique. It’s not every day you get to experience spaces where the integration of nature and well-being is so thoughtfully realised. The slogan ‘make room for nature’ guided us in creating a singular project that ensures well-being for both guests and the planet.”

NEW HORIZONS: PROJECTS IN 2024
2024 marked the launch of ambitious projects both in Italy and internationally, with four new countries, Singapore, Albania, Croatia and Portugal, joining the list of territories benefiting from Studio Apostoli’s expertise. Some of the most notable projects that began in 2024 include the Wellness Boutique Resort in Singapore, SPA Delta Resort in Albania, SPA Hotel Punta Molino in Ischia, Miramare The Palace Hotel in Sanremo, and the newly introduced Lefay Luxury Villas in Gargnano. These projects not only highlight Studio Apostoli’s ability to explore new markets but also underscore its exceptional focus on projects where well-being and hospitality seamlessly integrate.
‘Rethinking the Hotel Miramare The Palace in Sanremo, already a 5-star luxury hotel, as a future Wellness Destination Resort, allowed us to work in a very special historical and environmental context, with targeted strategic measures that could lead this iconic hotel on the Ligurian coast towards a new life. When we are facing such a challenging existing environment, making the right choices becomes even more decisive for the success of the entire project.’
Gianluca Rossin
‘Lefay Resorts is for us a long-standing partnership that goes back seven years, during which we have supported the client in significant redevelopment projects of existing structures and in the realisation of new ones. Over the past year, we have taken on exciting challenges, such as the Lefay Garden Villas in Gargnano and the third Lefay Resort to be built in Montalcino. This prestigious and international brand, synonymous with excellence in the wellness destination sector, is perfectly aligned with our core business. With our design and consultancy, we are committed to representing its values and philosophy, contributing to its continued success’.

PROSPECTS FOR 2025: A FUTURE OF INNOVATIONS
Looking ahead to 2025, Studio Apostoli is preparing for a brand refresh, which will undergo a significant strategic redefinition within the Apostoli Group. This aims to consolidate the results achieved thus far and address the new challenges posed by the target market with greater impact. An important step has already been taken with the creation of the brand Escape – Integrated Sustainable Design, a new entity dedicated to sustainable and integrated design, inspired by Alberto Apostoli (escapedesign.it).
To crown an exceptional year, Alberto Apostoli has published his new book, Elogio delle Spa (In Praise of Spas), an enlightening guide to the principles that will shape the wellness of the future (apostolibooks.com).
“Escape is a very important ‘entrepreneurial project’ for me because it defines and officially recognises a long-standing expertise that, over the years, has often been essential to the success of certain projects but has not been sufficiently valued. Now, it has its own identity and is set to take flight, both in synergy with Studio Apostoli and independently.”

2025 will also be a pivotal year for Armonia, the spa management and consulting company founded alongside Anna Rita Di Giacomo, which has strengthened its operations through collaborations with brands such as Mandarin Oriental, Marriott, and Terme di Comano.
This report highlights that Studio Apostoli, and its founder, Alberto Apostoli, are at the forefront of a dynamic and thriving practice.
“2024 was marked by numerous successes, all the result of the dedication, creativity, and passion that each member of Studio Apostoli contributes to their work daily. Anticipating what 2025 holds for the Studio, I am confident that the year ahead will bring new challenges and just as many successes.”
