Alberto Apostoli Appointed Lecturer for the Master’s Programme ‘Design Management for Innovative Environments’ in Shanghai
‘Luxury and Wellness’ will be the theme of his lectures, delivered in collaboration with Tongji University in Shanghai and the Politecnico di Milano.
Since February 2025, fifty professionals have undertaken the Master’s in Design Management for Innovative Environments, held jointly in Italy (at the MIP Consortium) and in China (at Tongji University, Shanghai). The programme prepares graduates to specialise in the design of innovative environments, with particular attention to the interrelationship between materials, finishes, systems, components and installations, within the broader framework of integrated design and implementation.
The Director of the Master’s, Professor Francesco Scullica, has invited architect Alberto Apostoli to deliver a series of lectures focusing on the design principles of spaces dedicated to care and wellbeing, with particular emphasis on the luxury sector – a field in which Studio Apostoli is an acknowledged leader.
“I am honoured to contribute to the Master’s programme organised by the Politecnico di Milano,” commented Alberto Apostoli. “This collaboration underscores both the work of Studio Apostoli and the importance of wellbeing architecture. I am also pleased to return to an academic context that I have come to know deeply over more than twenty-eight years of the Studio’s activity, through numerous international projects and initiatives.”
Alberto Apostoli will deliver his lectures between 18 and 21 September at Tongji University in Shanghai.
