Alberto Apostoli to speak for Area at the Milan Order of Architects
Exploring wellbeing as a key driver in urban design at the launch of Area Interior’s new issue
The latest trend in urban wellness, Urban Luxury Wellness, offers a moment of tranquillity amidst the city’s hustle – even if only for a few hours. There is no need to leave the city to restore balance: urban SPAs now provide holistic and detox rituals, alongside energising treatments that rejuvenate mind, body, and spirit. From saunas and hot tubs to steam rooms and heated pools, the city is home to true wellness oases where visitors can enjoy a restorative pause.
One standout example is Casa Cipriani, the boutique hotel in Palazzo Bernasconi at the heart of Milan, which will feature in architect Alberto Apostoli’s presentation. Designed by Studio Apostoli, the SPA includes an extensive Beauty and Medical area, a fitness space, and a wellness zone with separate male and female circuits. Facilities include a Finnish sauna, ice waterfall, sensory showers, hammam, and a relaxation area.
The presentation is open to all and will take place on 2 October at 17:30 at the Order of Architects of Milan (Via Solferino 17/19, Milan).
