On September 16, Arch. Alberto Apostoli will serve as lecturer at the prestigious Bologna-based academy: Spaces for Wellness is the theme.
Between September 2 and November 8, the advanced training course in Architecture for Hospitality will be held in Bologna, at the YACcademy headquarters.
This training course will guarantee twenty young designers the opportunity to learn the strategies of the best architectural firms specializing in the “culture” of hospitality.
In addition to Arch. Alberto Apostoli, profiles of the caliber of Kengo Kuma, Patricia Urquiola and Matteo Thun will bring their contribution to the creation of a highly professional context, unique in the world.
On the day of Sept. 16, in particular, Alberto Apostoli will delve into the theme of spas, gyms and swimming pools understood as spaces for the spirit and the body: starting with the presentation of the Studio and the definition of the iconic slogan Wellness Creators Through Architecture, he will go on to discuss the architecture of spas, from an architectural, stylistic, historical and cultural point of view. There will be no shortage of thoughts on the proper integration of design and plant engineering, as well as the study of new trends, the latest materials and cutting-edge technologies that occupy spas.
Much attention will also be devoted to case studies: starting from the famous Lefay Resort & SPA to the avant-garde Tavan Jargal, from Casa Cipriani to Tivoli Portopiccolo SPA.
