Armonia: the first independent integrated consulting firm specializing in the world of wellness

Armonia, the first independent integrated consulting firm specializing in the world of wellness, is born.

Strategy, communication, management, Armonia supports facilities and brands on an evolutionary path. It was founded by architect Alberto Apostoli, along with partners Anna Rita di Giacomo and Enrico Della Casa.

 

It is called Armonia and is the first true integrated wellness consulting reality, incorporating strategy, design, marketing, management, higher education and more, to work alongside spas in Italy and around the world and make them commercially and economically successful destinations. “How do you create a space dedicated to wellness, what might its identity be? What offerings should it include and how can it be promoted toward the end customer?”: aesthetics, functions, specialization and the very mode of storytelling are the cornerstones of a facility’s business and, if properly managed, produce its popularity and an extremely efficient business model.

Alberto Apostoli, a leading international design and architecture signature in the SPA world with over 25 years of activity and a portfolio of more than 1000 projects, wanted to unite them. He founded Armonia – Wellness Consulting, Advisoring and Management with the aim of outlining on the basis of his own experience the specific characteristics to become an expert interlocutor, strong in global and synergic competences. He will be joined by two specialized partners: Anna Rita Di Giacomo, who has a long management and consulting career in positioning wellness centers, underwriting their protocols and training; and Enrico Della Casa, with international experience in communication and branding in the luxury and wellness industry.

Armonia’s strategic and operational consulting, modulated and customized, can simultaneously involve different areas-design (developed directly by Studio Apostoli), marketing and management, or a selection of the same in order to fill clients’ specific needs. These include five-star destinations such as Mandarin Oriental Milano, Capovaticano Resort Thalasso SPA, Terme di Comano, Hotel Principe Forte dei Marmi, the St Regis in Venice, Hotel Romazzino in Costa Smeralda, Palazzo Doglio in Cagliari or Baglioni Villas, part of the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts group, and even beauty excellences such as Luxury Lab Cosmetics, addressed to the search for increasingly high-performance skin-care and cosmetics lines.

ALBERTO APOSTOLI. Project Leader and Chief Design

Alberto Apostoli is considered one of the most influential and award-winning architects in the Wellness & SPA world. After graduating in architecture from Venice in 1993, he embarked on an innovative path within his profession, exploring pioneering approaches and themes in his projects. In 1997, he founded Studio Apostoli, a globally recognized design and consulting firm that has been in business for more than 26 years. With a team of more than 30 professionals and a portfolio of more than 60 international awards, the firm has completed projects in more than 20 countries. Studio Apostoli has established partnerships with leading hospitality and wellness brands, including Lefay Resorts, Cipriani Group, Four Seasons, Hilton, Discovery Land Company and others. Alberto has also designed iconic designs and products for famous brands such as Jacuzzi and Varaschin, contributing to the expansion of the wellness industry into new markets. Alberto is the author of the book “SPA Architecture,” and his work has been published in numerous magazines and books, consolidating his experience and influence in the industry.
He is an esteemed member of several think tanks in the Wellness & SPA industry, such as the London-based Sustainable SPA Association, of which he has been a founding member since 2020. Alberto has been an active participant in conferences, webinars and outreach activities around the world for decades.

 

 

 

ANNA RITA DI GIACOMO. Chief Operations, product and HR

Anna Rita uses her understanding of human behavior to guide her choices and relationships in her professional endeavors. With a degree in psychology, she began her journey in the tourism industry with event coordination and later as a strategic communications and promotion manager for major Italian companies. Between 2004 and 2013, Anna Rita held several positions, including Spa Consultant, Customer Care Manager, Spa Operations Manager, and finally Spa Manager at Saturnia Spa. She was hired by Mandarin Oriental in 2014 as Director of Spa & Wellness for the opening of their first spa in Italy, in 2019 she played a key role in the re-branding and opening of the Mandarin Oriental SPA at Lake Como, including training and standards as well as scouting for the Spa Manager, and in 2021 she successfully directed the opening of the prestigious Spa at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid Hotel. Annarita’s personal philosophy is based on the values of extraordinariness and personalization. She believes in using technology, innovative concepts, and constant research to create a unique spa experience that stands out from others. She emphasizes staff training to optimize operations and efficiency, while prioritizing the importance of relationships and the ability to convey emotions in creating exceptional spa experiences.

 

 

 

ENRICO DELLA CASA. Chief Brand and communication

Enrico Della Casa is an executive and entrepreneur with extensive international experience in branding and communications in various industries and businesses. He began his professional career as an executive for renowned luxury brands such as Asprey-Garrard, Riva-Yacht and Ferrari, serving markets in Europe and the Americas for more than a decade. Subsequently, he successfully developed high-end single-family residential homes on a global scale through private companies. He also held executive roles and was partner in charge of branding and communications in several start-ups in the energy transition, electromobility, and hospitality and wellness sectors for a family-owned office company based in Boston, MA. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Enrico and his business partners were awarded the title of Best Wellness Offering and Facility in the Americas at the prestigious World Spa and Wellness Awards in London in 2021. Enrico was also appointed to the advisory board of the Gharieni Group, a leading German manufacturer of wellness technology equipment. In addition, Enrico is a partner in a branding and communications agency based in Italy. He holds a degree in political science from the University of Bologna. His unwavering enthusiasm for global design, architecture, technology, and innovation is unmistakably reflected in his dynamic lifestyle, which spans three incredibly diverse nations-Mongolia, Italy, and the United States.
