Studio Apostoli wins in the Interior Design – Wellness category with Almablu Wellness & SPA

Studio Apostoli celebrates a new important milestone at the LIV Hospitality Awards 2024, winning in the Interior Design – Wellness (SPA, Yoga, Retreat) category with the Almablu Wellness & SPA project.

Set within the exclusive five-star boutique resort Almar Giardino di Costanza, on the western coast of Sicily, the SPA presents itself as a multisensory tribute to the island’s history. A project that blends design, wellness, and cultural identity into a tailor-made journey where architecture and tradition intertwine in perfect harmony.

Three thematic areas, inspired by the Norman, Arab, and Roman dominations, guide guests through an immersive and symbolic experience. The journey begins in the Norman world, amid aromatic saunas and Nordic geometries, then moves into the Arab-Roman hammam — enriched with scenic fountains, marble, travertine, and lighting effects — and concludes in the Tea Room and relaxation area, the contemplative heart of the SPA.

Acting as a connecting element, a refined Arab-style patio serves as a space for decompression and cultural transition, leading to the salt steam bath, the indoor swimming pool with lap lane, the fitness area, and the expansive beauty zone dedicated to treatments inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Awarded for its ability to translate Sicily’s historical richness into a contemporary experience of wellness and design, Almablu Wellness & SPA stands out as a benchmark in the international hospitality landscape.
