The project has yet to take shape, but the brand new infinity pool designed by the Compass Studio is already on everyone’s lips. Created to be built on the top of a London skyscraper, it has caught everyone’s attention because it is accessible only through an underwater hatch. Yes, you read it right, an underwater trapdoor.

Already from the name you can understand that Infinity London will be a very different pool from the others. The infinity pool will, in fact, be the first of its category, from which you can enjoy a 360° view of the whole city of London. Capable of holding 600,000 litres of water, it will be completely surrounded by walls of cast acrylic.

The lower part of the pool will also be transparent, but it will be embellished with small coloured lights that will make your experience in the infinity pool even more magical and why not, even romantic, especially at nightfall. In short, you will feel like you are swimming in the sky!

At first glance you will feel as if there is no entrance, but if you look closely at the photos below you will see that there is a solution for accessing the infinity pool. It is a small spiral staircase placed under the pool that leads to a trapdoor, which rotates every time someone wants to enter or exit. Imagine an entrance to the “James Bond”, right at the bottom of the pool.
