The five-star luxury Pinzolo, whose interiors were entirely designed by Alberto Apostoli, is a receptive model of excellence, which the public wanted to reward at the Hospitality Design Awards.
With almost 4,000 votes received in just a few days and the subsequent victory of the Reader’s Choice Award Suite, Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti has confirmed itself as the Italian accommodation facility preferred by the public in the Hospitality Design Award 2020 programme.
The event was promoted by Hotel & Tourism Forum and organized within the online event “#REStart hospitality: Investment & Design” by Hotel & Tourism Forum, organised by PKF hotelexpert Italia.
The five-star luxury complex in Pinzolo, completed last year in the prestigious Madonna di Campiglio ski resort, was in fact one of the ten finalist candidates for the award, selected by Suite magazine.
“We are honoured that Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti, to which we had the pleasure of working together with a team of excellent professionals, has achieved this important recognition, which attests to the quality of the structure, based on the best Italian style.
From the services offered – which include, among others, a 5,000 sq.m. wellness centre – to the double soul of the complex – structured with a part hotel and a part private residences – to the detailed study of every element, space, furniture and material, the hotel represents a true receptive model of excellence and deserves the success and the prize obtained” says Alberto Apostoli, owner of the Verona-based studio of the same name.
Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti blends in perfectly with the landscape and reinterprets the traditional architecture of the place with a building on nine levels, resting on the reliefs. The Resort includes 88 suites – divided between Prestige Junior Suite, Deluxe Junior Suite, Family SPA Suite, Exclusive SPA Suite and a Royal Pool & SPA Suite – and 23 flats, organized according to different sizes and compositions, all equipped with kitchen, living room and dining room, and one, two or three rooms with related services.
In addition to the large lobby with the lounge, reading room, outdoor Sky lounge, meeting areas, shops and two restaurants, there is the large wellness centre on several floors, differentiated in functional terms: an entire floor dedicated to treatments, the in&out swimming pool with family sauna, the Lefay SPA Method energy-therapeutic paths area and the large fitness area.
Each area of the Resort is characterized by its own strong identity, however, inserted in the unique style that pervades the entire structure. Every piece of furniture and every object has been specially studied and designed for this specific location, from wood panelling to wallpaper and door handles, with the result of a fully customised and tailored accommodation facility, where contemporary luxury is mixed with environmental and energy sustainability.
