Few months ago, in the Italmark a shopping centre in Pisogne, in the province of Brescia, the wellness center Art Pete`opened. The structure is perfectly integrated with the complex that houses it. Despite the limited surface available (116sqm) that the architect Alberto Apostoli had at his disposal, he took advantage of the space as best he could by building less treatment cabins in order to create the fundamental common spaces needed. Art Petè Wellness Center is made up by a make up area that is located near the entrance of the centre, and therefore visible from the outside, three body cabins, one for face treatments and a connecting area to the hairdresser. The common space is central and at the core of the architectural model where one can relax and drink refreshing fruit juices and calming teas and where to organize small events. There is a central cabin
with a relax area and a treatment table. The furniture plays with emotions and familiarity: the choice of the wood and glass as design elements communicate security and allow the client to breath the clean air of home thanks to a simple, fresh and elegant decor. The graphics on the outdoor windows invite the customers to look in. People passing by will be intrigued by the transparencies of the “I see, I don’t see”. The glass partitions are built with graphic applications that depict natural and relaxing themes that favor a sense of abandonment and complete wellbeing on the clients’ part. The reception has a glass case that exposes products and merchandising, an element that is
reflected throughout the entire space as is evidenced by the wooden shelves. This style solution along the walls doubles as an element of design and a feature that augment the emotional state of the client, thanks to the environmental fusion that is created between the corridors and the sliding doors of the cabins when they are closed. Green and beige are the predominant colors of the interiors; the soft lights decisively dilute them and make it seem as if you were catapulted into a protected forest. The great rationality of the construction can be noted especially in the ceilings that recall the geometrical shapes of the ceramic floors and that favors the overall image.
